Anti-ageing Face Cream SPF 15

I was recently invited to review both this and another face cream from Biotell.I had never heard of them, and am fussy what I put on my face, but was reassured courtesy of Google that it's a luxury British brand that purports to be science-backed, so it seemed a safe bet.With its SPF 15 protection, this one was explicitly a day cream, so I opted to apply it in the mornings and save the other for evenings.

The presentation is utilitarian, more than luxurious; the cream comes in quite a plain white box, with a white glass, screw-top pot inside. None of it looks cheap or tacky, but it doesn't look especially indulgent or luxurious either. I think they want it to look more like a treatment than a treat.The cream is white and virtually odourless. It's a little thicker than I expected for a day cream; I think this might be due to the included SPF. But it does seem to rub-in OK, without the grey or chalky cast of some sunscreens.

I know this amounts to heresy, but I'm not a huge fan of SPF in face creams. I have low Vitamin D, and worry that I don't get *enough* sun exposure, without trying to block it whenever I go out. Whilst I won't reject a cream just because it contains sunscreen (it's only SPF 15 in this case), it's not a high priority for me, and it must have other benefits or ingredients that attract me more.

This is supposed to "visually improve the appearance of wrinkles". Note the careful wording, which avoids suggesting the wrinkles will actually be reduced, but could be describing a temporary lift, a filling effect, or even an optical illusion. This is not uncommon in the industry, unfortunately, so I'm not singling out Biotell for special criticism, but the current list price of £35.99 is a lot for something that merely "visually improves the appearance of wrinkles", without measurably reducing them.It's not an unpleasant cream by any means, and I'll finish the pot, but I'm sceptical whether the results beat any half-decent moisturiser.

I have been trying a few biotell products and I have loved them all! I was especially excited to try this anti aging cream, I love everything its telling me and cant wait to see the results, ive only been using this cream for a week so I cant tell you that my wrinkles have all disappeared but what I can tell you is that its a beautiful cream and im already obsessed!

I genuinely believe that its going to eventually make me look younger lol, all the ingredients tell me so!Before using this cream I had been using a (well known, expensive brand) neck cream alongside a face moisturiser so another thing that I love about this cream is that it advertises the fact that it is a dual action face and neck cream, I am currently testing it out for both areas and will report back once ive used it for a longer period of time.

Although ive not tried it long enough to see my fine lines disappear I can say that after ive used this cream my face looks hydrated and fresh, the cream has a very slight lovely scent and feels lovely on the skin, you feel like its really working, I have faith!!

Depending on the amount you normally spend on creams this may seem an expensive cream, but the ingredients used are so good and everything you want for younger looking skin! You can feel the quality when you rub it into your skin, you dont need much and the immediate hydration performance is outstanding, I love it and I feel like it will now be my new forever face cream!

A reliable everyday cream that keeps the skin soft, smooth and protected, and fits nicely into a morning routine.
