This comes boxed, with the product itself in a 30ml bottle with push down pump dispenser. I’ve not used Biotell before but I liked the sound of this product. It’s called a “brightening serum” but it’s designed to do a few things: brightening the skin and evening out uneven skin tone, moisturising and hydrating, boosting elasticity, and providing protection/antioxidant defence.
The ingredients are appealing, with the likes of tripeptides, hyaluronic acid, oregano extract and glutathione.I like the method of dispensing and find it’s easy enough to get the right amount I want without any mess. This comes out clear and quite gel-like in consistency. It’s not too thick nor too runny, so it’s easy to dispense the right amount and smooth over your face. There’s a very slight scent, not one I can put my finger on but it’s fine and there’s nothing off-putting about it to me. It’s a very pleasant product to use in that regard. It also absorbs pretty quickly and doesn’t leave lots of stickiness or greasiness. A few minutes after this I usually follow up with moisturiser.
Even without moisturiser though this feels quite nourishing in itself, and does seem to leave my skin softer.I’ve got areas of redness, my skin can be pretty dull, I’ve got some old spot scars, some broken capillaries, some fine lines, visible pores, etc etc. It sounds quite bad when I reel it all off! I can’t say I’ve noticed any difference yet to tone but I probably wouldn’t really expect to. Things like this can take several weeks, if not months, to generate any visible benefits. I would say that my skin feels softer and probably looks a tad better, or more healthy with a glow, perhaps thanks to the hydration of the serum. It’s a nice enough product to use and I’m very happy with it so far.
I also like the ingredients and it feels like a good quality product overall, so I’m keen to keep using this one and see what happens further down the line.
